WOODLAND SENIOR CENTER. Dance fitness classes offer a dynamic, easy, & fun way to maintain physical and mental health. Tina creates original, easy-to-follow choreography incorporating low-impact movements from ballet, jazz, hip-hop, Latin, Bollywood, Zumba, martial arts, kickboxing, & bellydancing. This class is perfect for people who have had previous experience taking any type of dance class (even a little, even decades prior), but everybody is welcome. Try it & see if you like it! Tina creates an inclusive environment for her Kung Fu students because the focus is on self-improvement, not competition; rather, each child works toward a set goal at their own pace. PEREGRINE SCHOOL, SOUTH. It's spring! Which means strawberries & one of the best ways to enjoy them is barely sweetened & poured over tender shortcakes topped with fluffy whipped cream. In this class, students will: learn some basic knife skills chopping the strawberries; learn about how to cut in the butter for the most tender biscuits & shortcakes; whipping up the softest cream & take home a delicious hand made dessert (or eat it right away, whichever they prefer).
