THE BARN STUDIO, WOODLAND. Young artists will dive into an exciting week of artistic discovery, hands-on projects, and skill-building in this immersive studio camp. Every Wednesday, arts activity stations will be available for you and your mini to discover together that encourage materials exploration and develop motor skills. PENCE GALLERY. This group is for both experienced artists and amateurs to have an opportunity to draw from the nude model. If you have never drawn from a live model before and would like to join us, you are very welcome! People of all skill levels, ages 18 and up, are welcome and encouraged to join. CAPAY VALLEY LAVENDER FARM. Stroll among blooming lavender rows and take part in lavender distillation demos, wreath-making workshops, and product sampling. Guests can shop handcrafted body products, culinary items, and essential oils—all made with farm-grown lavender. 10a—4p.
DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Explore an array of different art materials, such as paint, oil pastels, and recycled materials. Supplies will be available to let your creative imagination run wild, but you are welcome to bring your own! An adult must attend with at least one child, and children must attend with an adult. Art Explorers: Family Open Studio is FREE every second Friday for ArtAbout. 5p—7p. $5
