PENCE GALLERY. Both assemblage and sculpture combine various objects to create a three-dimensional work of art. A sculpture may use a limited palette of materials or colors to unify the piece to make it cohesive. In this three-hour workshop, students will learn the basics of sculpture with artist Amy Vidra. They're all among the cockeyed characters in James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's fractured fairy tale centered around a childless baker and his wife whose only wish is to lift the family curse and live happily ever after.
