DAVIS SHAMBHALA MEDITATION CENTER. Learn a simple yet profound meditation practice that is grounded in the ancient Tibetan teachings of Shambhala. Each session will include talks, guided meditation instruction, small discussion groups, and a tea break. All levels of practice welcome. 8:30a—12:30p. $50—200
NASHOBA WINES. The Davis Bookworms is a brand new "silent" book club, in which everyone brings a book of their own choosing, reads for an hour, and then socializes for an hour. We meet every two weeks on Sunday at Nashoba Wines. 1:30p—4p. Free
HEARTSCAPES STUDIO. Facilitated by leaf Wild, an artist, counselor, educator, and spirit liberator. Every session is different - we move with what shows up. You might find yourself drawing, dancing, speaking truth to a stranger, or sitting quietly with a snack and your breath. This is not therapy; this is a practice ground for being human.
