PENCE GALLERY. In this family art workshop, learn how to make a simple loom with sticks and twine, and weave flowers, leaves, and other natural materials to create your very own wall hanging. Decorate your woven art piece with moss, fabric butterflies, beads, and more to create the perfect fairy hideaway. LOCATION TBD. In this hands-on adult/family class, we’ll take a familiar childhood love (building forts!) and layer in real wilderness survival skills. Participants will learn how to build tarp shelters, brush shelters, and simple survival structures using natural materials and basic bushcraft techniques. 1p—5p. $25
