Tai chi classes suitable for beginners of all ages and fitness levels are now offered twice a week, Mondays and Fridays, at the beautiful Woodland Community & Senior Center! Tai chi (太极) is an ancient Chinese martial art that is practiced mainly for physical and mental health. It is a type of moving meditation in which breathing is coordinated with a series of fluid movements and postures. PENCE GALLERY. The Pence’s 6-session Healing Arts workshop uses art as a healing language for those experiencing grief from the loss of a loved one. Through the process of art making, participants will have opportunities for discussion, education, and connecting with peers in a safe and supportive space. They decide to take up the cause of a high school student named Emma, who has been banned from bringing her girlfriend to the prom in their small Indiana town.
