Designed especially to benefit seniors, Body Balance is a 1-hour fitness class that improves balance and coordination primarily by strengthening relevant muscles in the legs, abdominal core, back, and shoulders. DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Tai chi (太极) is an ancient Chinese martial art that is practiced mainly for physical and mental health purposes. Wednesday's class for intermediate and advanced students covers the Yang Style 42- and 48 forms, with Kung Fu warm-up.
