Live Jazz: Jim Frink Trio
ROOT OF HAPPINESS. Jim Frink is a drummer and educator based in Davis. The jazz trio plays improvisational music ranging from standards, to modern jazz, to balkan folk and beyond. 7:30p—10:30p. Free
Slow Jazz Jam
DAVIS SENIOR CENTER. Slow jazz jam for musicians working on their improvisational jazz chops. This jam is for musicians who are proficient on their instrument but are new to jazz. Meets every third Wednesday of the month. 3p—5p. Free
22nd Annual Home For the Holidays
DAVIS VETERANS MEMORIAL THEATRE. A musical variety show which showcases recording/touring acts with Davis roots, these musicians are giving back to the community and schools they attended. Grab tickets to this popular event, which benefits the Davis School Arts Foundation. 7p—10p. $25

“LA PASTORELA”
DAVIS COMMUNITY CHURCH. In partnership with El Arte de Amar, Sacramento, Davis Community Church presents the story of the shepherds' journey to Bethlehem. This traditional Mexican play is full of comedy, temptation, and hope. The play is free with an opportunity to donate. 4:30p—5:30p. Free
