CAPAY VALLEY LAVENDER FARM. Stroll among blooming lavender rows and take part in lavender distillation demos, wreath-making workshops, and product sampling. Guests can shop handcrafted body products, culinary items, and essential oils—all made with farm-grown lavender. 10a—4p.
MELON BALL, WATERMELON MUSIC. Watermelon Music and Friends of Watermelon Music present a free chamber music concert benefitting the Davis School Arts Foundation and the Friends of Sacramento Arts. Featuring Mike Ortiz (piano) and Katie Bauer (clarinet) performing works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Mozart. Donations accepted at the door. 100% of proceeds benefit arts education in Davis. 5:30p—7p.
