JOHN NATSOULAS GALLERY. In this new exhibition, Jeff Myers addresses his diverse interests through juxtapositions in his distinctive, colorful style. His primary themes center on both natural and human-made environments, and how individuals relate to those settings. Myers introduces nature as an integral part of each painting, depicting elements within the borders and confines of different figures, forms of technology, and everyday objects. Free

CAPAY VALLEY LAVENDER FARM. Stroll among blooming lavender rows and take part in lavender distillation demos, wreath-making workshops, and product sampling. Guests can shop handcrafted body products, culinary items, and essential oils—all made with farm-grown lavender. 10a—4p.
DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Explore an array of different art materials, such as paint, oil pastels, and recycled materials. Supplies will be available to let your creative imagination run wild, but you are welcome to bring your own! An adult must attend with at least one child, and children must attend with an adult. PENCE GALLERY. Learn how to paint figures in a surrounding environment, landscapes (including one urban scene), and flowers in natural settings. Students will gain experience on how to structure compositions from original references and will explore the painterly aspect of arranging shapes, values, and colors to complete an expressive painting.
