GORMAN MUSEUM OF NATIVE AMERICAN ART. The solo-exhibition features artworks by award-winning artist Rick Bartow, from 1979 to 2015. A Vietnam Veteran, life-long musician and song- writer, widower, and enrolled member of the Mad River Band of Wiyot Indians, Bartow is considered one of the most important leaders in contemporary Native American art. DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Create and decorate your own wacky, one-of-a-kind plate or platter! In this two-day workshop, students will learn how to roll a clay slab and drape it over a form to create a custom slump mold shape. After shaping their piece, students will finish it with a colorful glaze of their choice, making it both functional and food-safe. 3:30p—5:30p. $70
