Mason loosely bases her Focus on Nature: Beyond Eden series on animals considered unpopular and unappreciated with the purpose of helping people transcend “speciesism.” 11:30a—5p. Free

CAPAY VALLEY LAVENDER FARM. Stroll among blooming lavender rows and take part in lavender distillation demos, wreath-making workshops, and product sampling. Guests can shop handcrafted body products, culinary items, and essential oils—all made with farm-grown lavender. 10a—4p.
DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Explore an array of different art materials, such as paint, oil pastels, and recycled materials. Supplies will be available to let your creative imagination run wild, but you are welcome to bring your own! An adult must attend with at least one child, and children must attend with an adult.
