Francisco Dominguez Presentation of Photographs of Gaza War Protests

Francisco Dominguez is a Sacramento-based documentary photographer, artist, and printmaker specializing in social justice, labor movements, protests, civil rights, and indigenous peoples. He will present a slide show of his photographs documenting the protests against Israel’s war on Gaza, and speak about the protest movement against the Gaza War. 7p—9p. Free

Kokedama

FERA HOUSE, DAVIS. This hands-on workshop introduces the basics of kokedama, a Japanese method of growing plants in moss-wrapped soil. Learn how to prepare soil, position the plant roots, and bind each piece with natural twine (or colorful wire!) to create gorgeous living art.
