GORMAN MUSEUM OF NATIVE AMERICAN ART. The solo-exhibition features artworks by award-winning artist Rick Bartow, from 1979 to 2015. JOHN NATSOULAS GALLERY. This body of work portrays the psychological state of the individual that goes beyond traditional portraiture. Use of color, symbolism, cast shadows, semi-three dimensional elements, and embedded shadow boxes are meant to reveal the inner thoughts and character of the model. There are recurring themes in the work which include nature, the state of the planet, human connection to animals, youth, and mental health. Free
MANETTI SHREM MUSEUM. The Oakland-based artist is inspired by familial and global histories, food, music, and mourning. The exhibition features a reconfigured clock tower sculpture that alludes to market structures in the Eastern Mediterranean Levant region, and new works in ceramic and bronze that speak to familial and cultural ties across time. PENCE GALLERY. View a solo exhibit by Charlene Will, the recipient of the 2025 Pence Gallery Emerging Artist Award. Her work is rooted in a reverence for nature.
