The Vocal Art Ensemble presents CIRCLES – captivating musical patterns

This June, we present a program that sparkles with intriguing musical, historical, and thematic patterns. Choral pieces of varied origins take on new meanings as they are connected and organized into song “circles” that tell subtle stories, some finished, some unfinished. Refined instrumentals, performed by woodwind artisans Joshua Voeltz (flute) and Laura Harrington (oboe/English horn) will guide you from one circle to the next. CIRCLES aims to provide an immersive musical journey full of twists and turns, and elegant narratives through playful imagination.
