The steady diet of overwhelming news these days takes a toll, stirring up loneliness, anxiety and social divisions. Local artist jesikah maria ross and the International House are cooking up ways to come together that feed positivity and connection, and we’re calling this Hope Café. It’s an experiment in building community and resilience.
Our menu offers up:
- Live music and poetry
- Community choirs
- Conversations about care, joy and possibility
- Drinks and snacks
You’ll walk away feeling nourished and inspired, with new friends and resources to keep you hopeful!

Doors open at 6:15. We encourage you to arrive in time to mingle, grab a drink and add your ideas to the community mural. Because the program features a series iterative community building activities, doors close at 6:45 pm.
