If you liked Heated Rivalry, you’ll love author Kallie Emblidge’s debut Two Left Feet

By: The Dirt

If you’re still coming down from the high that was Heated Rivalry, we understand.

Debut author Kallie Emblidge’s novel Two Left Feet keeps the heat going, off the ice this time, as a Premier League football star has to defend his roster spot—and heart—when a threateningly talented and handsome midfielder joins his team.

Emblidge, who works for The Washington Post and is a co-chair of the paper’s union, lives and writes in New York City, but she certainly knows her way around Downtown Davis.

Kallie Emblidge grew up in Davis, attending both Willet and Montgomery Elementary, Holmes Junior High, and Davis Senior High School. Maybe you already know her as a local athlete—she also played youth AYSO soccer, was on the high school ski and waterpolo teams, and did club swimming through DART. Now Emblidge’s hometown welcomes her as a debut author.

Though Two Left Feet is her first novel, she’s been a football fan forever, and this month she’s bringing her love of the game and the romance genre to The Avid Reader.

Hear Emblidge discuss her novel and get your copy signed at The Avid Reader on Friday, Feb. 13 at 6:30p.

The Avid Reader is located at 617 2nd Street, Davis.

About Two Left Feet
Leo craves Oliver’s attention and partnership; Oliver can’t afford to fall in love with his teammate. He’s always kept a tight lid on his sexuality in a league that’s never had a player come out. As the season heats up, a lot more than football hangs in the balance. Can Oliver—and Leo—win when it counts most?
