You’ll try out simple techniques to make things like cups, vases, bowls, and plates on the pottery wheel. This class is all about process over product—nothing will be fired or glazed. After shaping the cup, students will finish it by applying a colorful glaze of their choice, making the cup both functional and food safe. Using simple, household “ingredients,” students will learn a variety of easy book structures that can be replicated at home. THE ARTERY. Create your own acrylic ice-cream painting while having fun. Kristina will lead kids and their grown-ups to paint their favorite flavors.
