INTERNATIONAL HOUSE DAVIS. Join us for a special, family-friendly evening with Takumi Kato, a renowned taiko drummer and lion dancer from Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Performing alongside his three young sons, their group — Peaceful Forest — is touring the U.S. with a mission to share 1,000 performances that inspire peace and understanding across cultures. 5p—8p. $20

WOODLAND SENIOR CENTER. Dance fitness classes offer a dynamic, easy, and fun way to maintain physical and mental health. Tina creates original, easy-to-follow choreography incorporating low-impact movements from ballet, jazz, hip-hop, Latin, Bollywood, Zumba, martial arts, kickboxing, & belly dancing. DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Children’s rhythmic dance, ballet, jazz, Latin, hip-hop, Asian and Western folk dances. Tina Duan has been teaching children to dance since 1993 and is happy to share her dance knowledge, skills and experience with children. Dance is a great choice for your child’s health and well-being, and Tina’s classes are suitable for kids of all ages. First class is free! 4p—5p.
RICHARD BRUNELLE PERFORMANCE HALL. The Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop is excited to announce their 40th Annual Student Concert! Come watch short pieces including Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, and K-pop styles, with dancers age 4 to 94.
