BRUNELLE PERFORMANCE HALL. International recording artist Mark Wood, an original member of the multi platinum selling Trans-Siberian Orchestra and creator of the revolutionary music education program “Electrify Your Strings!” is coming to Davis to perform. 6p—9:30p. $20
DAVIS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. This concert focuses on the transition from darkness to light. We begin in darkness, singing our beloved arrangement of Silent Night, which speaks to the need for peace and light. We close by singing Dan Forrest’s “Lux,” a multi-movement work that reminds us that there is always hope for light and peace, even in the worst times of war and strife. 5p—8p. Free
CA AGRICULTURE MUSEUM. Featuring Rachel Day Kessler, who helped organize the first Madrigal Dinner in 1968, founded the Davis Chorale in 1978, and founded the Davis Children’s Chorale in 1995. BRUNELLE PERFORMANCE HALL. The K-6th Grade Fall Choral Workshop, “Around the World in Song”, is a great activity for young students who love singing and dancing. The Madrigals will teach a fun arrangement of songs. Following the workshop, the attendees perform their newly learned pieces to the audience of friends and family. 9a—1p. $40
