Relax, focus, and meditate this summer with Davis Meditation & Kirtan.
Starting Wednesday July 10, Davis Meditation will host Weekly Guided Meditations each Wednesday from 6p—7:30p.
Mantras are ancient healing sounds that take the mind off the stress of modern day life, and give real rest, according to Davis Meditation.
At these weekly meditation meetings, attendants will practice three simple mantra techniques they can use to practice on their own. This includes deep breathing, a technique using beads (Japa meditation), and music (Kirtan).
Weekly Guided Meditation sessions are hosted at Davis Community Church on Wendesdays from 6p—7:30p. Go straight to the Fireside Room (C Street Entrance).
On Sunday, July 14, the group will host a Sunday Night Kirtan, featuring a delicious vegetarian meal. The experience will be hosted at Woodland Meditation House from 5:30p—8p.
