Acme Theatre Company – Registration OPEN!

Put on a show! In this 2-week camp, each student will receive a speaking role in a short play and be guided through the entire theatrical process—from auditions to the final performance—while developing creativity, teamwork, and confidence. 

  • Ages: 8–13
  • Dates: June 23, 2025 – July 2, 2025
  • Time: Weekdays from 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM (except for the final day)
  • Final Day (July 2nd): Camp runs from 1:30 PM – 6:00 PM, culminating in a special performance for family and friends at 6:00 PM. Dinner will be provided to campers on this day.
  • Cost: $225 per student (scholarships available upon request)

Bubblegum Art Studio — Registration OPEN!

Bubblegum Art Studio offers young artists a week-long immersive experience in process art projects. Each camp is designed to foster creativity and self-expression in a fun and supportive environment.

  • Ages 5-9
  • Price: $375 per week
  • Dates: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
  • Themes: Camps are organized into three exciting themes, each running for multiple weeks:

City of Davis Summer Camps – Registration Opens 2/26 for Select Camps, 3/12 for All Other Camps

The City of Davis just dropped its 2025 Summer Rec Guide, packed with camps for every kind of kid. Whether they love the outdoors, cooking, LEGO engineering, or horseback riding, there’s something for everyone.

  • Rainbow Summer Camp – A mix of games, crafts, and adventure for kids 6+. 
  • Summer Quest – A camp filled with field trips, games, swimming, and special events for kids 6-13 years old.

  • Kids in the Kitchen – A hands-on culinary camp serving up cooking skills for kids 7+.

March 12, 2025, at 7:00 AM – Registration opens for all other camps and programs.

City of Davis Summer Camps & Registration Info

Note from the City: Registration opens at 7am, registration is available online or in-person only. Updated liability waivers are only required for in-person registration. Online registration processes liability waivers at the point of registration. Please make sure your online account is current and active at least 1-week before registration opens. On registration days, we experience a high volume of calls and emails and customers may experience long waiting times. If you need assistance, please email Registration@cityofdavis.org and a staff person will assist you.

Our system uses September 1 as the age eligibility date for our camps. To calculate the age of your child, determine the age they will be on September 1, if you need to request an age override, please contact Registration at least a week before registration opens at 530-757-5626 option 2 or email Registration@cityofdavis.org and a staff person will assist you.

Camp Putah, Horse Camp and Trekkers are in high demand! Registration is limited to one week, per program, per eligible child. Davis Residents have priority registration, Non-Residents can register the following Monday. *Enrolling in a waitlist spot will will prevent registration.


DARTS Day Camp — Registration Opens 3/20

Each camp will have a weekly theme, which will be offered for 1.5-2 hours of each day. Other daily camp activities include a Swim Lesson/Practice, Games and activities at Community Pool and Park, Snack and lunch breaks, quiet games and activities, and an open fun swim time in Community Pool. 

  • Dates: Six 1-week sessions, running June 16-August 1st

  • Ages: Kindergarten through 6th grade.

Davis Arts Center — Registration Opens 2/14

Summer Arts Campers will experience quality art activities guided by paid teaching artists and camp counselors. Campers will have the opportunity to explore a large range in materials. The activities will be fun and will encourage campers to explore the materials and develop their art skills. Details for 2025 summer camps are coming soon.

Davis Cards & Games Summer Kids Camps — Waitlist Only

As of publication, all Davis Cards & Games summer camps were booked. Those wishing to be added to the waitlist should visit their website. 


Davis Community Track & Feild Camp

Athletes will learn how to train hard and intelligently under the guidance of our experienced staff. Athletes will also have opportunities to explore numerous track and field events: sprints, distance, jumps, throws, and pole vault.

  • $100 per session, which includes USATF membership.
  • Location: Davis High School Stadium

Davis Forest School – Registration Opens 3/3

Davis Forest School offers a summer camp that blends child-led exploration with facilitated activities, including nature crafts, awareness-based games, and naturalist studies, including learning about the flora and fauna of the area, and identifying animal tracks.

Davis Language Academy — Registration OPEN!

Davis Language Academy offers immersive bilingual experiences that blend language learning with creative, hands-on activities. These camps are designed to foster cultural appreciation and practical skills in a fun and engaging environment.

  • Makers Workshop: At Makers Workshop, kids will be taught different life-skills as well as several artisanal techniques from Mexico. They’ll learn the basics of sewing and practice making age appropriate projects, including paper mache, piñata making and simple wooden projects. No previous experience with Spanish is required.
    • Dates: Weekly sessions from June 16th-August 15th
    • Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    • Ages: 6-12
    • Price: $385 per session
  • Kinder Camp – Mi Comunidad (My Community): Children will learn Spanish words through activities about our community and our role in it. Kinder camp is full of songs, games and movement as well as hands-on activities that focus on developing conversation skills through play.
    • Dates: August 4-8

    • Ages: 5-6

Davis Fencing Academy — Registration OPEN

  • Fencing FUNdamentals
    • Ages: 6–14
    • Dates: June 10–14, June 24–28, July 29–August 2, August 12–16
    • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Price: $175 per week
    • Description: This camp focuses on footwork, bladework, agility, and concentration games, along with fencing bouts. It’s suitable for novice to intermediate fencers, with multiple coaches to accommodate different skill levels. 
  • Pentathlon Camps
    • Ages: 6–14
    • Dates: June 10–14, June 24–28, July 29–August 2, August 12–16
    • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Price: $275 per week
    • Description: For those interested in more than just fencing, this all-day camp includes morning sessions of running and practicing laser marksmanship, followed by afternoon fencing. It’s an excellent introduction to the Olympic sport of modern pentathlon, which combines multiple disciplines for a comprehensive athletic experience.
  • Summer National/Elite Training Camp
    • Ages: Not specified
    • Dates: June 17–21
    • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
    • Price: $500
    • Description: An advanced training camp led by Maestro Lucchetti, designed to prepare students for National Championships or to jumpstart summer training for fall competitions. This camp is suitable for fencers with at least six months of experience.

Davis Waldorf School Summergarden – Registration OPEN!

Davis Waldorf School’s Summergarden program offers children the opportunity to explore arts, weaving, jewelry making, and more, all while making new friends. Children from all schools in the area are welcome.

Davis Youth Robotics – Registration TBA

RoboCamps is a week-long summer camp in which campers through 8th grade have the opportunity to work together to build and program a robot, and to explore a variety of STEM challenges. Trained counselors will be available to guide campers, giving the best robotics experience possible. At the end of the week, campers in most of the programs will showcase their finished robot in a friendly competition.

Explorit Summer Camps — Information Coming Soon

Explorit Science Center offers hands-on science camps that encourage children to explore, experiment, and discover. Pricing is $210 per camp for members, $240 for non-members.

Kaiju BJJ Kids Summer Camp — Registration OPEN!

Kaiju Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) provides a unique opportunity for kids to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals, anti-bullying techniques, and self-defense basics, all within a fun and supportive environment.

  • Dates: June 10 – August 23, 2025
  • Days: Monday – Friday
  • Time: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM
    • Early Drop-Off: Available from 8:00 AM at no additional charge
    • Pick-Up Window: 2:30 PM – 2:45 PM at no additional charge

Mirror Image Dance Company – Registration OPEN!

Step into the spotlight this summer at Mirror Image Dance Company! Our talented instructors work with dancers of all levels to help them gain new skills and techniques! Each camp culminates in a special performance for parents on the last day.

Paintball Camp— Registration OPEN!

Paintball Camp features structured target shooting, action-packed paintball games, and an interactive way to exercise, socialize, and have fun.  Campers ages 8 to 14 years old will play with beginner friendly low impact equipment.  Campers age 6 to 8 in our Junior Adventure camp will play with Gel Blasters.

    • Description: Participants will engage with low-impact paintball equipment, making it ideal for beginners. The camp features safety instructions, team-building exercises, shooting skill games, and strategic gameplay. Campers will also receive one free individual rental pass plus 500 paintballs.

Pamela Trokanski Dance Workshop— Registration OPEN NOW!

  • Dates: Weekly sessions from June 16 to August 9, 2025
  • Ages: 6–12 years old
  • Time: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Each week, campers will engage in a variety of activities, including dance and movement sessions, visual arts projects, and storytelling. The program emphasizes the integration of movement into all explorations, fostering both physical and creative development.

Peregrine School: Camp Peregrine — Registration Opens 3/1

Peregrine School will have several camps available throughout the summer for children ages 2.5 through 12.

Pine Trails Ranch Horse Camp— Registration OPEN!

Pine Trails Ranch is excited to announce its 2025 Summer Horse Camps, offering a range of sessions tailored to various riding skill levels. These camps provide immersive equestrian experiences, combining riding instruction with comprehensive horse care education in a supportive environment.

  • Dates: June 9 – August 22, 2025

Rock Band University Summer Rock Band Camp — Registration opens Soon

RockBand University is excited to announce its 2025 Summer Rock Band Camps, offering young musicians aged 10 to 18 the opportunity to experience the thrill of being in a band. Participants will collaborate with fellow musicians, create setlists, rehearse in fully equipped studios, and culminate the week with a live performance in downtown Davis.

Camp Details:

  • Ages: 10–18
  • Dates: Weekly sessions from June through August 2025
  • Time: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Concert: Fridays at 5:00 PM
  • Tuition: $250 per week

Camps accommodate musicians from beginner to advanced levels. Beginners should know basic chords or beats and have some experience keeping time. Absolute beginners are encouraged to take private lessons before enrolling.

Enrollment for Summer Rock Band Camp 2025 begins in February. To apply, fill out the RockBand University Summer Camp Application. Participants must also sign an Emergency Contact, Code of Conduct, and Release of Liability Form on the first day of camp.

Rocknasium Summer Camps – Registration OPEN!

Every summer, Rocknasium hosts a Summer Camp for kids ages 6–12. Their summer camp program gives kids a chance to have an awesome week of climbing and related fun in an exciting setting with cool challenges and a group of other fun kids!

1:5 Staff to Climber ratio / All equipment is included.

Camp Schedule: Weekly from June 16th-August 22nd 

  • Morning Session: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Afternoon Session: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

For campers enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions, staff supervision is provided during the lunch hour. Parents are encouraged to send their child with a packed lunch.

Sacramento Zoo Camp — Registration Opens 3/5 for members, 3/19 for General Public

The Sacramento Zoo offers engaging and educational summer camps for children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Each camp is designed to inspire a love for animals and conservation in a fun, immersive environment.

UC Davis Aggie Youth Camps — Registration for Faculty, Students, and Staff Opens 3/17, Community Registration Open 3/19

  • Aggie Camps: Traditional day-camp experiences featuring a mix of indoor and outdoor activities tailored to various age groups.
  • Craft Camps: Campers will have the chance to learn and strengthen new skills by creating unique pieces of art. Campers will be able to apply various techniques while exploring different mediums of creative expression through arts and crafts.
  • Specialty Camps: Focused camps covering specific interests such as sports, theater, and more, allowing campers to delve deeper into particular activities.
  • Partner Camps: Collaborative programs with UC Davis community members, offering unique educational and recreational experiences.

Camps are organized by the grade level participants will be entering in the upcoming fall:

  • Teen Camps: Various programs for older participants

UC Davis Men’s Basketball Youth Camp — Registration OPEN!

The UC Davis Men’s Basketball Youth Camp focuses on providing young athletes with skill training to improve the offensive aspect of their personal game. Their instruction emphasizes basketball fundamentals including shooting skills, ball handling, passing, footwork, shot selection, rebounding, and having the right mental approach. Campers will learn how to overcome common shooting errors while having fun in live competitions designed to help them successfully apply the techniques they learn during drills. In addition, campers will leave with a good understanding of offensive fundamentals and a variety of drills they can perform at home that are designed to enhance personal basketball potential. The camp utilizes the skills of UC Davis student-athletes and coaches to help each and every camper succeed!

BLUE LEVEL:

Velocity Island – Registration OPEN

  • Dates: June 16 – August 4, 2025
  • Days: Monday through Friday
  • Time: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Ages: 7–16
  • Height Requirement: Campers under 42 inches must pass a swim test
  • Waivers: A 2025 Velocity Island Park Waiver for both Aqua Park and Cable Park must be completed prior to participation

  • All necessary gear: basic/slider wakeboard, kneeboard, helmet, and USCG-approved lifejacket
