March 28 | West Sacramento
A third nationwide “No Kings” march has been set for March 28 and Yolo County neighbors are invited to join the movement—marching across Tower Bridge from Yolo County to the California State Capitol.
Organized by Indivisible Yolo, the group will meet at River Walk Park in West Sacramento at 10:30 a.m., and then march en masse across Tower Bridge to the State Capitol at noon.
“West Sacramento’s rich history in the farmworkers movement makes this the right time for the county-wide event to be held there as that weekend coincides with March 31, Cesar Chavez Day, and we want to recognize West Sacramento as the final stop in the farmworkers march 60-years-ago before they, too, marched across the Tower Bridge to the Capitol,” Indivisible Yolo writes.
Registration is not required, but it does help planners prepare.
