The Executive Director of the International House, Shelly Gilbride, has been working hard to save the community institution—one which helps English language learners navigate life in our community, assist international parents, welcome visitors and new residents from around the world, and cultivates joy through world music, dance, food, dialogue and art—in this dire time. So it’s even more remarkable that, at home, she with her family created a tribute parody of “You’ll Be Back,” from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton, called “School’ll Be Back,” dedicated to all of the frontline workers who are out there keeping us all safe and healthy. Gilbride writes, “Making this video brought us joy, and I hope it brings you all joy too. Please stay safe, healthy and joyful.”
