PENCE GALLERY. Rochelle Mason uses her imagination in painting bold, colorful abstracts of beautifully designed animals by applying swirling, flowing brushstrokes and defining intriguing shapes. PENCE GALLERY. Learn how to paint figures in a surrounding environment, landscapes (including one urban scene), and flowers in natural settings. Students will gain experience on how to structure compositions from original references and will explore the painterly aspect of arranging shapes, values, and colors to complete an expressive painting.
