DAVIS ARTS CENTER. In this 3-part Wizarding Workshop series, wizards of all ages will use their magical abilities to practice their craft! Supplies will be provided to create items every wizard should have in their possession. Register for a single workshop or all three in the series! (Children 7 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult.) 5:30p—6:30p. $40
DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Kids will mix red, blue, yellow, and white Model Magic clay to create their own unique 3D art pieces. With plenty of examples for inspiration and the freedom to make whatever they imagine, it's a fun intro to color theory and sculpture! For ages 6—12. 5:30p—6:30p. $35

JOHN NATSOULAS GALLERY. This exhibit celebrates the legacy of Bruce McGaw, one of the most important Bay Area painters and teachers. The retrospective exhibit will feature a wide selection of drawings and paintings from throughout his entire career. Free
PENCE GALLERY. Call for artists! You are invited to submit artwork that captures the connection between clothing and one’s personal identity and/or culture. You can explore this open-ended theme through various media and subject matter. Work will be selected for a new group exhibit, titled Worn, from Jan. 9—Feb. 8, 2026. DAVIS SENIOR CENTER. This group assists and maintains the Senior Center’s extensive Genealogy Library, and in addition, hosts monthly lectures and meetings. During library hours, members are available to assist you with accessing research materials. Computer access is also available in the library for research purposes. 1p—3:30p. Free

MAIN THEATRE, UC DAVIS. Hear from Josh Faught, a Sacramento-based fiber artist who creates sculptures that use traditional textile and homespun techniques, such as loom-weaving, knitting, and crocheting, to explore craft traditions, queer culture, and personal history. 4:30p—6p. Free
