MANETTI SHREM MUSEUM. Julio César Morales—artist, curator and a former museum director—grew up along the U.S.–Mexico border between San Diego and Tijuana. After nearly a decade in Arizona creating work about the border, “OJO” marks his California homecoming and return to full-time studio practice through a mid-career survey bridging past and future to reflect on the present. 10a—5p. MANETTI SHREM MUSEUM. This groundbreaking exhibition considers the connections between social and environmental injustice through the lens of contemporary art. DAVIS SENIOR CENTER. This group assists and maintains the Senior Center’s extensive Genealogy Library, and in addition, hosts monthly lectures and meetings. During library hours, members are available to assist you with accessing research materials. Computer access is also available in the library for research purposes. 1p—3:30p. Free
DAVIS SENIOR CENTER. Slow jazz jam for musicians working on their improvisational jazz chops. This jam is for musicians who are proficient on their instrument but are new to jazz. Meets every third Wednesday of the month. 3p—5p. Free
