DAVIS FRIENDS MEETINGHOUSE. Historian Rick Moniz will provide a retrospective of Martin Luther King’s work to alleviate poverty in the rural south and urban ghettos, and his legacy fighting for the poor. Following Rick Moniz’s talk will be a discussion of the present housing crisis particularly as it applies to the unhoused in our community. 6p—7:30p. Free

UC DAVIS DESIGN MUSEUM. This exhibition celebrates the 50th anniversary of an innovative west Davis neighborhood community.
