PENCE GALLERY. Learn how to paint figures in a surrounding environment, landscapes (including one urban scene), and flowers in natural settings. Students will gain experience on how to structure compositions from original references and will explore the painterly aspect of arranging shapes, values, and colors to complete an expressive painting. MANETTI SHREM MUSEUM. Julio César Morales—artist, curator and a former museum director—grew up along the U.S.–Mexico border between San Diego and Tijuana.
