MANETTI SHREM MUSEUM. Drop in for an afternoon of art making inspired by this fall’s exhibitions. Each month, we offer a different activity that explores ideas, materials, and processes connected to works of art on view. All ages and skill levels are welcome, and all supplies are provided. 1p—4p. DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Bring your own sweater and turn it into an ugly (or cute) holiday sweater! This hands-on one-day workshop is the perfect chance to design a sweater that’s uniquely yours. All decorative materials, including fabric paint and embellishments, will be provided. 5:30p—6:30p. $30
DAVIS ARTS CENTER. Create and decorate your own wacky, one-of-a-kind plate or platter! In this two-day workshop, students will learn how to roll a clay slab and drape it over a form to create a custom slump mold shape. After shaping their piece, students will finish it with a colorful glaze of their choice, making it both functional and food-safe. 3:30p—5:30p. $70
