Jessie Wright is an emerging artist and naturalist from Northern California. Inspired by the vibrant hummingbirds in her backyard, Jessie explores the captivating idea of translating bird songs into visual art. Her exhibition, “Zig Zag Zing,” showcases the musicality of these sounds through an array of dynamic brushstrokes, representing the rich melodies frequently heard in Davis and the surrounding areas. The artist’s reception is on Friday, September 12 at the Super Owl Brewing, 1260 Lake Blvd., Suite 121 in Davis between 6 – 8:30 pm.
