Watercolor Painting with Misuk Goltz

Under the guidance of artist Misuk Goltz, participants will learn how to paint figures in a surrounding environment, landscapes (including one urban scene), and flowers in natural settings. Students will gain experience on how to structure compositions from original references and will explore the painterly aspect of arranging shapes, values, and colors to complete an expressive painting. Each week, the lesson format will consist of a demonstration, a painting session, and a critique of each participant’s work. For this workshop, participants should be familiar with the basics of drawing and watercolor painting.
