Under the guidance of artist Qinqin Liu, explore how to combine watercolor with Chinese ink and oil pastels. Participants will learn design, composition, shape, line, point, value, and color, as well as wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry watercolor techniques. Students will produce an interactive artwork by combining watercolor expression and abstraction, sketches of natural objects, and Chinese calligraphy. The instructor will offer a class demo, followed by individual instruction and group discussion. Please visit our website for the materials list.
