For the past 26 years, the Davis-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization Sahaya International has been supporting community development, education and conservation programs in developing countries (including India, Uganda, Vietnam and the Philippines). This includes helping orphans and vulnerable children, building schools, community water projects and women empowerment. To learn more visit www.sahaya.org or watch the short documentary, “Sahaya Going Beyond” (narrated by Academy Award winner Jeremy Irons) at https://vimeo.com/65517422
The evening will be filled with stories of inspiration and hope, cultural performances, interactive activities and snacks/drinks. Come meet old friends and make new friends.
Event sponsorship opportunities (at different levels, with proper acknowledgment) are available.
We hope to see you there!
Koen Van Rompay (founder, Sahaya International; koen@sahaya.org)
