Photography Club of Davis

June 11 @ 7:30 pm - 8:45 pm

Free

Beth Young is a Sacramento-based professional photographer who specializes in creating nature images of healing, hope, and renewal for healthcare environments. Join the Photography Club of Davis when Beth leads a program titled: “Using Color to Elicit an Emotional Response.” You will learn how to use color psychology in nature photography to elicit an emotional response and deeper connection from your viewers. You’ll discover how the use of color harmony can affect our psychological and physiological responses to an image, and how to harness the use of color to create images that speak to your viewers on an emotional level. See some of Beth Young’s work at optimalfocusphotography.com. The free workshop is open to the public on Tuesday, June 11, from 7:30pm – 8:45pm in the Blanchard Room of the Davis Library at 315 E. 14th Street.
