Pence Gallery: Stories on Stage Davis/Art Gallery Garden Tour

It’s that time of year for springtime garden tours!
The Pence Art Gallery is hosting their annual self-guided tour of 7–10 private gardens in and around Davis on Sunday, May 1, from 12–5 pm. There’s more to the story: on-site plein air paintings, a gallery tour of an artist’s work, even gift bags! Find out more about the event— including tickets—by visiting the Pence’s website. Want to support Stories on Stage Davis? One of the gardens featured on the May 1 tour is a 30-year-old, three-acre English country garden on the outskirts of Davis belonging to one of our board members. Stories on Stage Davis will host a special guided tour by Joseph Rothleutner (Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens) and Jim Salyards (Filoli Gardens). This separate event will take place from 9 am to 11 am on May 1. It will include a light brunch of mimosas and homemade pastries, all for a $50 donation per person. Spots are limited, so reserve your place by emailing storiesonstagedirector@gmail.com. (Those who have donated $100 or more already have spots reserved!)
