Loopalooza

To help celebrate May is Bike Month, the City of Davis invites everyone to get on their bikes for the 15^th Annual Loopalooza on Sunday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In partnership with Bike Davis and community organizations, this beloved family-friendly tradition is a community bike ride event with activity stations along the 12-mile bike loop.

There are four ways community members can complete the liability waiver before they participate. Learn more about the new, advanced, paper-free waiver process at: www.cityofdavis.org/loopalooza. Enjoy hands-on activities, delicious local food and more. The 10 interactive stations along the loop include the following organizations and activities:

1. Community Park:
   • Organizations/Groups: Yolo-Solano Air Quality Management District, City of Davis Skate Park, Davis Bike Park Alliance, Yolo County Library
   • Food: Kona Ice
   • Facilities: Public Restroom, Water Fountain, Bike Mechanic
2. Holmes Junior High
   • Organizations/Groups: UC Davis Design Students Bike Scavenger Hunt Teaser
   • Facilities: Public Restroom, Bike Mechanic
3. Mace Ranch Park
   • Organizations/Groups: Cool Davis, Explorit Science Center
   • Facilities: Public Restroom, Water Fountain
4. Willow Creek Park
   • Organizations/Groups: SPIN Shared Micromobility
   • Facilities: No Public Restroom
5. Marguerite Montgomery Elementary School
   • Organizations/Groups: Davis Police Department and Scouts Bike Rodeo, AYSO Soccer
   • Facilities: Public Restroom, Water Fountain
6. Davis Commons / UC Davis Arboretum
   • Organizations/Groups: Yolo Commute, Sacramento Area Bicycle Advocates, UC Davis Bohart Museum of Entomology
   • Facilities: No Public Restroom
7. UC Davis Sprocket Bikeway near California Ave (new location!):
   • Organizations/Groups: ASUCD Bike Barn, UC Davis Bike Program, UC Davis Marching Band (performance 12 – 1 p.m.)
   • Facilities: Public Restroom, Water Fountain, Bike Mechanic
8. Evenstar Lane
   • Organizations/Groups: Whymcycles, Bike Davis

9. Patwin Elementary School (moved location!)

10. Sycamore Park:

Make this free event a special day for you and your family and friends by visiting local greenbelts, picnicking at the park and connecting with friends and neighbors.
