In this 6-week workshop, students will create watercolor paintings inspired by Misuk’s recent travels to Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, and Turkey. Using these Mediterranean image references, participants will explore landscape, architectural, and figurative subjects rich in light, atmosphere and color. Students will focus on designing harmonious compositions, developing value studies for each subject, and working with limited color palettes to achieve cohesive, painterly results. For this workshop, participants should have prior experience with watercolor techniques and color blending.
