Natsoulas Gallery presents Heidi Bekebrede in a Zoom Workshop.
Join us Saturday (8/15) from 1 pm to 4 pm PST for our live Zoom Workshop with Heidi Bekebrede. Heidi will give her workshop on how to create fun & engaging curriculum for children (K-6). She’ll show you how to easily incorporate a kiln into your classroom and what kind of projects you can develop with students that are fun for everyone.
Heidi Bekebrede has been making art with clay since she was an art student at UCDavis in the late 1970s. Her professors were; Arneson, Petersen, Neri, Himelfard, Schultz, Henderson, De Forest, Thiebaud, Johnson and Tullis.Her colorful, playful work is inspired by the happy, singing world of early 1930’s cartoons and is continually influenced by the thousands of projects made by children in her clay workshops at local schools and at the Davis Arts Center where she taught for 27 years. Heidi now teaches children’s classes from her home studio.
