Putah Creek Council is hosting a cleanup at Winters Nature Park along the creek. A lot of garbage and debris come through the storm drains and end up in Winters waterways, we need the community to come help keep it clean and healthy! This is a free event and Putah Creek Council will be providing lunch and family activities for after the cleanup. Putah Creek Council is composed of dedicated volunteers, nature enthusiasts, creek lovers, and scientists who work together for the good of the creek. Everyday, dedicated staff and an ambitious Board of Directors serve as advocates, teachers, cultivators, and restorationists of Putah Creek! Putah Creek Council strives to work, protect and enhance Putah Creek, its watershed, and tributaries through advocacy, education and community-based stewardship.
