Corntobeerfest at Hooby’s Brewing Farm

It’s almost time for our second annual Corntobeerfest at the Farm! We’ve got a lot of fun set for October 8th at our farm location. Here are the details to ensure you don’t miss a thing:
Live music by The Voice contestant Shane Q (@shaneqofficial) from 5:30-8:30pm! If you have yet to hear him sing live… you’re in for a treat!!
Vendors Galore, 3-9pm– A variety of local vendors will be set up throughout the farm for the day to show off and sell their creations and treats.
Cornhole Tournaments at 3:45pm– 2 tournaments with a Social Division and Competitive Division. The Competitive Division is Bring Your Own Partner tournament with a $40 team buy-in. The Social Division will be Switcholio at a $10/player buy-in. There will be prizes for the top 3 teams in each division, with the first place team of the Competitive Division taking home $500! Sign up via the Scoreholio App by searching Hooby’s CorntoBEERfest.
Bubble Cone food truck (@bubblecones) will be on-site from 5-8pm serving up their sweet and savory waffle cone goodies!
Men’s & Women’s Steinholding Competition at 5pm– Think you have what it takes?! This steinholding competition consists of holding a 1 liter glass stein filled with liquid weighing approximately 5 pounds total in front of your body with a fully extended arm. There are a limited number of spots available with separate men’s and women’s divisions. This is a 21+ age competition. There is a $20 entry fee per participant and each participant will be provided with and get to keep their contest stein.
Pretzel Eating Contest at 5:30pm
– With fresh pretzels from the newest bakery in Winters, Upper Crust Bakery! This winner will be the participant that can eat one if their delicious pretzels the fastest!
Long Dog Contest at 6:30pm– All floppy eared Weiner dogs with a long, low body are allowed to participate!
– All dogs must be on a leash when not participating.
– Owners must be required to clean up after their dog(s).
– You may bring your dog’s favorite toy to entice your dog to the finish line, but no food is allowed in the racing area.
– No flashlights, laser pointers, or throwing of items down the track will be allowed.
– All dogs must have two people to race; one as the releaser and one as the catcher.
– The first dog to cross the roughly 125 foot distance, wins!
– This race will be done in the spirit of family fun, so please no arguing with the judges or other doggies and their owners.
Musical Kegs at 6:30pm– Yep, just like it sounds…. musical chairs but with kegs! Fun for every family member!
Costume Contest Results at 7:30pm– Whether it is some awesome lederhosen or dirndl outfits or the best halloween costume, we want to see them! All ages are welcome to join in the spirit of the season looking their best!
Hooby’s Brewing Farm is located at 24830 County Road 95, Davis. We will be open 3-9pm on the 8th. We can’t wait to see you all!!!
