The lovely goats have cleaned up the South Davis Channel between Drummond and Mace Blvd. Now that’s it dry and all grass has been cut back by the goats, we are going to clean up the creek bed of trash & litter from Putah Creek Park toward Mace Blvd. This is an important area clean up in order to keep this trash and litter from flowing into our waterways when the rain arrives. It’s the first annual ‘Trashure Hunt” put on by the Calif Coastal Commission. @Coastalcleanupday.org
We will have pickers, buckets, bags, gloves, safety vests, and some boots if needed. Also water will be available to refill your water bottles. Bring your own garden/work gloves & refillable bottles if you have them. Meet at 9:00 am in Putah Creek Park, 1111 El Campo Avenue (off Lillard). There could be hidden prizes.
