We are excited to restart Astronomy on Tap Davis.
Our first event will be on December 4th from 6-8pm at Sudwerk Brewing!
We will have two talks from members of the UC Davis Physics & Astronomy department.
Our first AoT will feature a talk by Craig Lage about his work on the world’s largest ever digital camera that has just started operating for the Rubin Observatory, and Aravind Ravi will speak about supernova remnants can tell us about the stars that formed them. We will also have astronomy in the news and trivia.
As always, there will be good food and beer. See you all there!
