Anxiety and Autism: Family-based strategies for returning to school after shelter in place
August 19 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
A Minds Behind the MIND Webinar!
The daily lives of families were disrupted by COVID-19-related school closures. Returning to school this fall, whether in person or virtually, may lead to additional changes in a child’s routines, which could cause anxiety. Psychologists currently researching the topic will review the symptoms of anxiety in autism and offer practical strategies for families to support children in coping with the return to school.
