Celebrating the first year in our new home! Join us at our Anniversary Party for a holiday shopping extravaganza. In addition, enjoy a day full of interactive events for all ages—honey and mead tastings, tours of our garden and facility, live music, giveaways, and food from our restaurant.

The HIVE is a five-year development created to educate the public on honey, bees, and pollination. Tour our 20,000 square foot Zero Net Energy facility and two acres of pollinator habitat. Throughout the weekend, explore our beautiful facility with scheduled guided tours and walks around our pollinator gardens.
Workshops
- Guided Honey Tasting @ 11:30a and 1:45p
- Move Your Body Workshop from 2:30–3p
In the beginner honey tasting workshops, learn how to taste and understand the variety and nuance of honey with Amina Harris, the Queen Bee! Amina Harris is the Director of The Honey and Pollination Center and a co-owner of Z Specialty Food.
In the Move Your Body Workshop, Sammie Anne will be leading dance-based games and activities to encourage attendees of all ages and abilities to loosen up, find the beat, and move their bodies. Sammie Anne works as an art gallery director for the Atrium by day and a dance teacher at Firehouse 5 Dance Studio by night.

About Nathan Ignacio
California-based musician Nathan Ignacio is known for his ability to connect with audiences from all walks of life. About The Gold Souls
The driving grooves of funk, rich textures of soul, and compelling storytelling of the blues converge through The Gold Souls’ unique brand of boogie. They’re debuting a full female horn section!
About Infinite Spin
Infinite Spin is a Sacramento/Lake Tahoe-based group that specializes in creating sensational and unique shows including fire spinning, aerial silk and lyra performance, acrobatics, and daytime or LED prop manipulation.
About Royal Jelly Jive
Jazzy, cabaret sounds blend with hints of funk, traces of rock, and smidgens of soul, best described as “San Francisco Soul.” Led by dynamic front woman Lauren Bjelde, this sultry sextet rocks into uncharted musical territories with their infectious blend of modern and throwback sensibilities.
