Acme Theatre Company is celebrating our 40th anniversary with an exciting Big Day of Giving challenge….
Over the 24 hours of Thursday, May 7th – from midnight to midnight! – Acme, with the help of its alumni and community members, will read 40 plays from all of Acme’s 40-seasons, and a few from our future!
This entirely-online event will take us through four decades of Acme history and connect our company members, alums and fans at all hours and across all time zones.
We need readers (like you!) to make this happen! Free slots are available now through 11:59, Monday, May 4! (Slots will be available during the marathon on May 7th with contributions of $40 or more to Acme.)
Acme Theatre Company is an independent, self-sustaining community theatre group for young artists of high school age. Its mission is to present plays of high literary quality while providing opportunities for young people to learn various acting and technical skills in an organization run entirely by young people themselves under the direction of a small cadre of adult mentors.
