Linda Nunes is an award-winning, interdisciplinary artist with a Studio Art degree from California State University, Sacramento. She is a workshop leader, curator and sometimes juror who now lives in the Sacramento area.
Her gallery work is generally surreal or non-narrative, characterized by gestural marks, texture and bold color, and is primarily two-dimensional. She most often creates in the unique and ancient media of encaustic (bee’s wax and resin) or cold wax and oil.
