1. Arboretum Art Works, 17 Arboretum Dr, Suites G & H | 4 – 7 PM
Reception
Arboretum Art Works is a working artist collective featuring artists in 2 suites. Artists in attendance
include Thelma Weatherford, Cathie James-Robinson, Schorré Chevalier Oldham, Joel Bresolin,
Ginger Joyce, Judy Catambay, Charlene Akers, and Mark Ellsberry.

2. The Artery, 207 G St | 7 – 9 PM
Reception
Déjà View: New Paintings by Phil Gross. Many of Phil’s landscape paintings evoke a sense of
wonderment and vastness, while others conjure the peaceful quiet of intimate settings. These familiar
worlds which we can see again from perhaps a different view, a déjà view, shine with the bright, deeply
saturated, warm palette.

3. Bohème Clothing & Gifts, 409 3rd St | 5 – 8 PM
Reception
Love is in the Air. Visit Bohème for an artist reception and live painting by artist Stephanie Peel. She is
a traditional expressionist fine art painter with a focus on portraits, but occasionally paints some silly
subjects like memes that make people smile. Come by to see her painting live right outside the store!
Complimentary wine and snacks, fun music and positive vibes.

4. Burger Patch, 500 1st St, Unit 9 | 5 – 11 PM
Reception
Art & Burgers. Visit the Burger Patch and view a collection of artworks by Kenneth Arnold in the dining
area. Kenneth will also have prints & drawings for sale, and he will be doing live drawing. Say hello and
grab a bite while you’re there!

5. CommuniCare Davis Community Clinic, 2051 John Jones Rd | 6 – 7:30 PM
Reception

Nearby. CommuniCare is hosting an artist reception for Spring Warren, whose paintings feature scenes
close to where they live. Due to the paintings often feeling familiar or recognizable to viewers, Spring
likes to respond with, “Well, it’s nearby.”

6. The Davis Hootenanny, Hunt Boyer Plaza, 604 2nd St | 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Music
The Davis Hootenanny is a disability-inclusive music event hosted by Purple Tree Café in connection
with the Second Friday ArtAbout. The Team Davis Singers will kick off an open mic set, followed by
featured performer Cold Shot. Fun for everyone! This outdoor event is subject to weather conditions.

7. Davis Craft & Vintage Fair, E St Plaza | 5 – 9 PM
Shopping/Pop-up/Music
The Davis Craft & Vintage Fair is a local group of arts, crafts, and vintage micro-businesses. Shop at
their booths next to Baskin Robbins in the E Street Plaza, and there will be live music by Cowboys After
Dark from 6-9pm. This outdoor event is subject to weather conditions.

8. Logos Books, 513 2nd St | 6 – 8 PM
Reception
A Little Bit of Davis, a Lot of California. Karen Fess-Uecker’s warm and vibrant oil paintings feature
landscapes in Davis and greater California.

9. The Paint Chip, 217 F St | 6 – 8:30 PM

For the month of February, The Paint Chip is displaying art by Anne Lincoln and Kathleen Gamper.

10. Pence Gallery, 212 D St | 6 – 9 PM
Reception/Music
Visit the Pence for the opening reception of Figurative Exposé, the California Art Club's juried exhibit
featuring figurative paintings by select CAC artists, as juried by master painter Dan Schultz. The Tiny
Show is also on display with 30+ fantastic 5″x7″ artworks by local & regional artists. You can enjoy a
free wine tasting by Twisted Cedar Wines as well as live music by Davis Diplomacy, a quartet folk
music group, starting at 6:30pm. Free admission.
