Davis Waldorf School’s May Faire

May Day celebrations at Waldorf schools across the United States and beyond are inspired by ancient European traditions that honor the beginning of summer’s light and warmth in our lives. It is traditionally held on the first of May, a date midway between the spring equinox and summer solstice. May Faire festivities include arts and crafts, games and activities, a puppet show, a petting zoo, live music and dancing, and refreshments. Attended by as many as 500 community members, it is a beautiful way to celebrate spring’s renewal and welcome summer’s zest for life!
Attendance is free, while refreshments, activities & games require ticket purchases.
