City of Davis Parks photo contest open now

by: Barbara Archer, City of Davis

The City of Davis Parks and Community Services Department (PCS) is inviting the entire community to participate in the 2026 Community Photo Contest. This year’s theme, “Community Connections,” encourages participants to capture images that highlight what makes Davis parks meaningful to community members and visitors alike. To be eligible, all submissions must feature a City of Davis park. Entries will be accepted through June 5, 2026, at 11:59 p.m., and the contest is open to participants of all ages.

Participants will have the opportunity to win prizes, be featured in the Fall RecGuide and have their photos displayed in City Hall. In addition, winners will be announced online in late June and recognized at a future Recreation and Park Commission meeting.

The cost for submission of up to five photos is $10. To register, visit the City of Davis Parks and Community Services website Special Interest Classes page at: https://www.cityofdavis.org/city-hall/parks-and-community-services. For more information, contact Alyssa Branum at abranum@cityofdavis.org.
